About Us

We provide personalized speech, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallow rehabilitation services in the comfort of your home, or via telehealth

We specialize in working with individuals with stroke, Parkinson's Disease, and other neurological diseases that impair communication, memory, thinking, and swallowing.

We value our patients and caregivers as important members of the treatment team, and work with you to create a plan tailored to your needs. 

Who do we serve?

We work with adults ages 21+.

What disorders do we treat? 

  • Aphasia (difficulty listening, speaking, reading, writing)

  • Apraxia (difficulty controlling the muscles used to form words)

  • Cognitive impairment (memory loss and brain fog) after Covid-19

  • Cognitive impairment (memory loss, difficulty thinking, difficulty managing your daily activities) after injury or illness. 

  • Dementia

  • Dysarthria

  • Dysphagia (difficulty chewing and swallowing)

  • Dysphonia (hoarseness and voice loss due to Parkinson's Disease)

  • Mild Cognitive Impairment

  • Neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)

Where do we provide services?

We provide in-home services in Gaithersburg and surrounding areas. Specific areas we serve include: Boyds, Clarksburg, Darnestown, Derwood, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Bethesda, Potomac, Redlands, Rockville, Travilah.

 

Telehealth services (remote services via computer) are available to patients outside of our in-home service area, and during inclement weather. Telehealth services for swallow impairments are available per patient needs and the therapist's clinical judgement.

Meet The Therapist

LeslieAnn obtained her Bachelor degree at Andrews University, then completed her Masters degree at Purdue University. 

​

After two years in various Maryland school systems, she transitioned to the medical setting and has spent the last 10 years working with adults. She has experience working with patients with stroke, dysphagia (swallow disorders) dementia, Parkinson's and other neurological diseases in private practice, Skilled Nursing, and Assisted Living Facilities.  

​

 LeslieAnn embraces diversity, and believes that all patients deserve care that respects their cultural, religious, and personal beliefs. As she has been a patient herself, she also believes in empowering patients and their caregivers through education, so they can be better advocates for their care.

 

In her free time, she enjoys baking, writing children's stories, travel, and long days at the beach.

LeslieAnn Williams, M.S, CCC-SLP

LeslieAnn holds a certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland, and Virginia.

She is a Certified McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program Provider, and a SPEAK OUT! Provider.
